Marlene Joyce (Lindemeyer) Leugers, 82, of North Fort Myers, Florida, formerly of Celina, OH, passed away peacefully at her home, on September 19, 2025, at 8:24 a.m.
She was born at home on April 27, 1943, in Bowling Green, Ohio, to William Henry and Pearl Marie (Borcherding) Lindemeyer. On June 1, 1964, Marlene married Robert Eugene Leugers in Cordon, Indiana.
Marlene is survived by her children: Richard Leugers, Michael (Rosalind) Leugers, Catrina (Mike) Fields, and Lisa Leugers (Ron Mullins). She was the proud grandmother of 15 grandchildren, great-grandmother of 31, and great-great-grandmother of 11.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Eugene Leugers; parents, William and Pearl Lindemeyer; siblings, Deloris (Elwin) Gee, Donna (Don) Bricker, Richard (Joyce) Lindemeyer, and Ronald Lindemeyer; her son, Daniel Leugers; daughter-in-law, Deb Leugers; and great-grandson, Walker Tobias.
Marlene was a graduate of Bowling Green High School. She worked much of her life in the food industry and retired from Otterbein Retirement Center in St. Marys, Ohio, after seven years of dedicated service.
In her younger years, she loved gardening, and after moving to Celina, she enjoyed creating plastic canvas crafts. In her later years, she spent time doing word searches, playing bingo and solitaire, but her greatest joy came from being with her family especially her grandchildren.
Friends and family are warmly invited to the interment at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at Swamp College Cemetery, 6496 Karch Rd., Celina, OH 45822.
