At 640 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Ada to Jackson Center, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph, pea size hail, and very heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation. Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible.
Locations impacted include... Sidney, Bellefontaine, Kenton, Ada, Jackson Center, Forest, Russells Point, De Graff, Lakeview, Dunkirk, Alger, Waynesfield, Belle Center, West Mansfield, Chippewa Park, Northwood, Blanchard, Roundhead, Quincy, and Mount Victory.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 92 and 98.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.
Motorists should slow down and use extra caution.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for central and west central Ohio.

Robert Link
Robert U. "Bob" Link, age 95, passed away at the Gardens Nursing Home in Celina, on Friday, September 26, 2025.
He was born April 12, 1930, to Joseph and Julitta (Fleck) Link, in Carthagena. He married Lucille "Lucy" Jansen on January 7, 1950. She preceded him in death, as did a son, Robert J. Link.
He is survived by his children: David Link, Columbus, Ann (Bruce) Luebke, Celina, Janet (Dennis) Hoyng, Celina, Lora (Michael) Horan, Deland, FL, Michael (Andrea) Link, St. Marys, and Patrick (Susie) Link, Chillicothe, a daughter-in-law, Alice Link, Montezuma, 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, a brother-in-law, Paul Jansen, and a sister-in-law, Pat Jansen.
Preceding him in death were: a daughter-in-law, Karin (Godby) Link, brothers & sisters: Louis (Eulalia) Link, Mary (Arthur) Huelsman, Mildred Link, Margaret (Robert) Beach, Florence (Vincent) Helpling, and Donald (Charlotte) Link, brothers & sisters on his wife's side of the family: Clarence "Jim" Jansen, Isabelle (Paul) Heinke, Clara (Floyd) Lauber, William (Betty) Jansen, Henry Jansen, Mary (Oscar) Hemmelgarn, Robert (Beulah) Jansen, Dennis (Lucille) Jansen, Louis Jansen, John Jansen, Margaret (Walter) Stammen, and Thomas (Mary Jo) Jansen, and a sister-in-law, Judy Jansen.
Bob worked at AVCO New Idea Farm Equipment from 1947 - 1988. He started in the parts department, moved to the service department, and eventually became involved in writing equipment operating manuals and other technical publications, serving as supervisor and then manager. He also worked part-time at Kuenning Auto Sales in New Bremen for a number of years.
He liked to hunt and fish. He was an avid car enthusiast and took great pride in his cars. Bob loved birds and provided the Martins with homes for many years. He made sure to have a bird bath and bird seed for his feathered friends. He enjoyed the outdoors and could be seen sitting outside on many a summer afternoon.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, October 3, 2025, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, with Fr. Adam Berning officiating. Burial will follow at St. Aloysius Cemetery in Carthagena.
A Luncheon and time of fellowship will be held at the I.C. Parish Activity Center (PAC) following the Committal Service.
There will be no Calling Hours.
Memorial Contributions may be made for Masses or to EverHeart Hospice.
