The Versailles Village Council is scheduled to hold a public hearing on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. The purpose of this public hearing is for the review of a written recommendation from the Versailles Planning Commission to establish zoning district classification to 6.467 acres of land that has been annexed into the Village of Versailles.
The public hearing is scheduled to begin at 6:50 P.M. in the Versailles Fire/EMS Station Conference Room, 320 Baker Road, Versailles, Ohio. All interested parties are welcome to attend.

The Trustees of Butler Township will conduct their regular monthly meetings on the third Monday of each month at 8:00 p.m. in the Township Hall located at 306 West Main Street, Coldwater, OH 45828. They will conduct their re-organizational meeting and take inventory following their January meeting.

CHANGES TO FEES FOR THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT
Notice is hereby given that the Uniform Schedule of Fees for the Mercer County Health District has been modified by the Board of Health. A series of hearings were held at regularly scheduled meetings from November 2024 - January 2025. The Mercer County Health District establishes an annual cost methodology review process in order to determine a fair and equitable approach toward modifying fees for various program services.
The Mercer County Health District has modified fees in the following programs: Environmental Health: Campgrounds/Food Service Operations & Retail Food Establishments.
Any previous fees in conflict with the proposed are to be repealed. The modifications of the Uniform Schedule of Fees is pursuant to Sections 705.15, 3709.09, and 3709.21 of the Ohio Revised Code.
The proposed 2025 Uniform Schedule of Fees is a local fee schedule which is not affected by state fees. The adoption of the modified fees was completed January 8, 2025, by the Mercer County Board of Health. The fees will take effect January 20, 2025.

PUBLIC COMMENTS
Any individual, group, or agency may submit written comments on the ERR to the Mercer County Board of Commissioners by U.S. mail or email at the addresses above. All comments received before January 23, 2025, will be considered by the Mercer County Board of Commissioners prior to authorizing submission of a request for release of funds. Comments should specify which Notice they are addressing.
ENVIRONMENTAL CERTIFICATION
The Mercer County Board of Commissioners certifies to the State of Ohio that David Buschur in his capacity as Chairman of the Mercer County Commissioners consents to accept the jurisdiction of the Federal Courts if an action is brought to enforce responsibilities in relation to the environmental review process and that these responsibilities have been satisfied. The State of Ohio's approval of the certification satisfies its responsibilities under NEPA and related laws and authorities and allows the Mercer County Board of Commissioners to use Program funds.
OBJECTIONS TO RELEASE OF FUNDS
The State of Ohio will accept objections to its release of funds and the Mercer County's certification for a period of fifteen days following the anticipated submission date or its actual receipt of the request (whichever is later) only if they are on one of the following bases: (a) the certification was not executed by the Certifying Officer of the Mercer County Board of Commissioners; (b) the Mercer County Board of Commissioners has omitted a step or failed to make a decision or finding required by HUD regulations at 24 CFR part 58; (c) the grant recipient or other participants in the development process have committed funds, incurred costs or undertaken activities not authorized by 24 CFR Part 58 before approval of a release of funds by the State of Ohio; or (d) another Federal agency acting pursuant to 40 CFR Part 1504 has submitted a written finding that the project is unsatisfactory from the standpoint of environmental quality. Objections must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the required procedures (24 CFR Part 58, Sec. 58.76) and shall be addressed to Ohio Department of Development, Office of Community Development at OCD@development.ohio. gov. Potential objectors should contact the State of Ohio to verify the actual last day of the objection period.

All monthly meetings will be held on the last Wednesday of the month, at 8:00 P.M., except the December meeting will be held on, Tuesday, December 23 at 8:00 P.M.
