Irene Hartings
Irene M. Hartings, 86, 8324 state Route 119, Minster, died at 1:20 a.m. July 12, 2006, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Minster.
She was born Nov. 23, 1917, in Minster, to Julius and Mary Meyer Meyer. On Nov. 22, 1945, she married Louis Hartings, who survives.
Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a brother, Lavern Meyer; and a sister, Alberta Hemmelgarn.
She worked for 26 years at Sieberling Rubber Co., New Bremen; and for 10 years at One Hour Martinizing, Greenville. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and St. Monica Sodality, both in Minster.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Rick Neiberding officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Friday and 9-9:30 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
