An Arctic front will sweep east across the region between 5 AM and 9 AM. A few hours of snow showers and west wind gusts of 35 to 40 mph will occur with the frontal passage. While any accumulations will generally be a half inch or less, some challenging travel conditions may develop given, rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities, strong wind and cold temperatures. These conditions will impact the morning commute. Use caution and allow for extra time to reach your destination.

* WHEN...From 7 AM this morning to 10 AM EST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken. Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.

Dorothy Heidlebaugh
Dorothy K. Heidlebaugh, 84, of rural Spencerville, died at 2:57 p.m. July 11, 2006, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, following a short illness.
She was born Nov. 6, 1921, in Marion Township, Allen County, to Carl and Mildred Lutz Baxter. On June 20, 1943, she married Albert D. Heidlebaugh, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Norman C. (Sondra), Spencerville; three daughters, Linda J. (Edward) Yahl, St. Marys, Susan K., of Cambridge, and Karen S. (Greg) Schwark, Spencerville; seven grandchildren; a stepgranddaughter; four great-grandchildren and a stepgreat-granddaughter.
Deceased is a sister, Jane Baxter Brooks.
She taught vocational home economics for 28 1/2 years in Spencerville, Harrod, York and Mendon Union Schools. She also taught home economics classes for the Ohio Power Co. for five years and for eight years she did microwave and sewing machine demonstrations for Sears. She attended one room schools before graduating in 1939 from Delphos Jefferson High School and in 1943 from Miami University with a bachelors of science in education.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Spencerville. She was a Sunday school teacher and member of its official board and many committees. She was a member and officer of Spencerville Grange 2424 and a member of the Ohio Education Association. She was Spencerville's 1983 Citizen of the Year.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Jan Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Hartford Cemetery, northeast of Spencerville.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville, and after 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.
