Everett Jump
Everett F. Jump, 88, 1017 Edward St., St. Marys, died at 11:43 a.m. Sept. 12, 2006, at Wapakoneta Manor.
He was born June 11, 1918, in Mexico, Ohio, to Wilson and Estella Jump. On Oct. 8, 1941, he married Margueritte Yeager, who died Feb. 21, 2001.
Survivors are fiance, Caroline Horn, Winchester, Ind.; two sons, Jim (Leesa), Naperville, Ill., and David (Eileen), Columbus; two daughters, Linda (Larry) Wahrer, Jackson Center, and Jenny (Bill) Grubey, Muncie, Ind.; a sister, Lois (Gus) Rowe, Baldwinsville, N.Y.; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are seven brothers, Laurel, Virgil, Dale, Paul, Harold, Ray and Edward; and a sister, Helen.
He retired from Beatrice Foods Corp., where he was plant superintendent in New Bremen. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a graduate of Forrest High School and attended Penn State University. He was a member of Wayne Street United Methodist Church, St. Marys; and Free & Accepted Masons Mercer Lodge 121.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Mary Kay Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, and after 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.
