* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.

* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero could result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken.

Richard Reed
Richard "Richie" Lee Reed, 39, 17857 state Route 66, St. Marys, was pronounced dead at 3:38 p.m. Oct. 21, 2006, at the emergency department of St. Rita's Hospital, Lima, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born Jan. 29, 1967, in Bowling Green, to Ron and Mary Margaret McAtee Reed. His mother is deceased. His father survives with wife, Barbara Faze in St. Marys. His fiancee, Victoria Ferren, survives in St. Marys.
Also surviving is a sister, Teresa (Jeff) Hays, St. Marys.
Deceased are a brother, Robert; and grandparents, John and Beata McAtee.
He was currently employed at Crown Equipment Corp. and served as a police officer in New Knoxville. He was a 1985 graduate of Memorial High School, St. Marys, and Ohio Peace Officers Academy. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Marys.
Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Thursday at the church the Rev. Anthony Cutcher officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, and after 10 a.m. Thursday at the church.
