* WHEN...Until 315 PM EDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 911 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in Wapakoneta, southwest of Kenton, and throughout Logan County. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Wapakoneta, Kenton, Russells Point, Lakeview, Waynesfield, Belle Center, West Mansfield, Chippewa Park, Northwood, Roundhead, Mount Victory, Rushsylvania, Mcguffey, Huntsville, Ridgeway, Uniopolis, State Route 195 at State Route 235, Jumbo, Walton and New Hampshire.

Lafe Scheer Jr.
Former New Bremen resident Lafe Jack Scheer Jr., 80, of Wapakoneta, died at 5:25 p.m. Oct. 22, 2006, at his residence.
He was born March 26, 1926, in Lock Two, to Lafe W. and Wilma Oberwitte Scheer. He was married to Rachel Katterheinrich, who died in 1992. On April 28, 1993, he married Joan Linder, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Jerry, of Missouri, and John (Cathy) and Jeff (Debbie), all of New Bremen; two daughters, JoAnne (Bill) Schweissguth and Judy (Frank) Cook, all of Missouri; two stepsons, Stephen (Kathy) Linder, Jamestown, and Jeffrey Linder, Gahanna; three stepdaughters, Kathy (Douglas) Rath, Defiance, Susan (Michael) McCormick, West Chester, and Mary Beth (Russ) Barton, Westerville; three brothers, Roger (Vernita), St. Marys, Delbert (Juanita), New Bremen; and James (Lucille), Minster; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers, Ralph, Robert and William; and a sister, Lella May Bilger.
He was a retired member of New Bremen-German Twp. Fire Department and retired from Precision Strip Corp. of Minster in 1989, where he was an over the road semitrailer operator. He was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, New Bremen; American Legion Post 241, New Bremen; Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8445 and Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks Lodge 1170, both of Wapakoneta.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. John W. Tostrick officiating. Burial will follow in German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen.
