* WHEN...Until 8 AM EDT Monday.
* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

Robert Kirgan
Fort Recovery native Robert F. Kirgan, 89, of Union City, died at 10:45 p.m. Oct. 23, 2006, at Wayne Hospital, Greenville.
He was born Sept. 16, 1917, in Fort Recovery, to Walter and Zora Painter Kirgan. On Oct. 27, 1939, he married Mary Coldren, who died Feb. 21, 2006.
Survivors are a son, Patrick (Nancy), Union City.
He was a retired farmer, operated an excavating business and was employed at the former Kirgan Stove Company, both of Fort Recovery. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps, serving during World War II, and was a 1936 graduate of Fort Recovery High School. He was a member of the Bitter Ridge Bowman Association, Portland, Ind.
Graveside services at Springhill Cemetery, Fort Recovery, will be held at the convenience of the family. There is no calling.
Contributions can be made to the Fort Recovery Library.
Arrangements are by Brockman & Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
