* WHERE...Southern Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* WHEN...Until 700 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 355 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Coldwater, St. Henry, Fort Recovery, Chickasaw, Burkettsville, Montezuma, Carthagena and Maria Stein.

Showers and thunderstorms will be capable of producing brief cold air funnels this afternoon and evening. Several funnel clouds have already been spotted across west-central Ohio, with this feature potentially moving into central Ohio over the coming hours. Keep in mind, the majority of these funnels will not reach the ground, but if they do, gusty winds and minor damage may occur.

* WHEN...From 4 PM EDT this afternoon through Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A complex of storms will develop later this afternoon and continue overnight. Repeated rounds of storms, combined with the extremely wet soil conditions will increase the risk for flash flooding later this evening into the overnight hours.

Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... George Anderson
George E. Anderson, 67, 00317 U.S. 33 West, St. Marys, died at 11;43 p.m. Nov. 15, 2006, at his residence following an extended illness.
He was born July 30, 1939, in St. Marys, to George S. and Margaret Slemmons Anderson. On April 24, 1965, he married Merle Farley, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Victor (Patrice), Wapakoneta, Edward (Dianne), St. Marys, and Troy (Jodi), New Bremen; and eight grandchildren.
Deceased are two sisters, Mary Bowersock and Carol Byerley.
He retired as a machine operator at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, St. Marys, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of American Legion Post 323, St. Marys, and served as a St. Marys Township Fire Department volunteer for several years.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home Ohio 703 West Chapel, St. Marys, the Revs. Charles Richtmyer and Bill Drummond officiating. Burial with graveside military rites are at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
