Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off into tonight.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset and beyond as temperatures drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

Lucille Danzig
Lucille A. Danzig, 93, 67 Elm St., Fort Loramie, died at 3 a.m. Nov. 16, 2006, at Wilson Hospital, Sidney, following a brief illness.
She was born Aug. 27, 1913, in Frenchtown, to Peter and Stella Goubeax Bulcher. On Nov. 25, 1937, she married Francis Danzig, who died Feb. 7, 1978.
Survivors are two brothers, Willard and Francis (Esther) Bulcher, all of Versailles; a sister, Fredona Rethman, Versailles; and two sisters-in-law, Rosemary Bulcher, Russia, and Winnie Bulcher, Versailles.
Deceased are four brothers, Clarence, Orville, Robert and Rohmaine Bulcher; and three sisters, Florence Garga, Thelma Bulcher and Pauline Gigandet.
She was a homemaker and worked on the farm. She also was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and its rosary and altar sodality, Fort Loramie.
Funeral Mass is 9 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. today at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
