Thomas Green
Thomas Green, 86, 200 Home Ave., Celina, died at 4:33 a.m. Dec. 21, 2006, at Celina Manor.
He was born April 5, 1920, in Fort Recovery, to Clifford and Minnie Clark Green. On May 16, 1942, he married Maxine M. Virden, who survives in Celina.
Also surviving are two sons, Steve V. (Janice), and Thomas "Skip" Jr., all of Celina; a daughter, Melissa, Lima; and two grandsons.
Deceased is a sister, Pauline.
He retired after 26 years as vice president and cashier at Citizens Commercial Bank, Celina. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II, and attended Fort Recovery High School. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and American Legion Post 210, both of Celina, Mercer County Sportsman Club and Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks Lodge, Portland, Ind.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Arthur Wilde officiating. Burial is at Green Mound Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Friday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, and after 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Contributions can be made to the church capital improvement fund.
