Very strong wind gusts and dry soil is leading to areas of blowing dust across the area. This is causing visibility to be reduced to one mile or less in localized area.
Motorists should be prepared for rapidly changing visibility. Slow down and leave plenty of distance between you and the vehicle in front of you.
As winds slowly decrease late this afternoon into the evening, blowing dust should diminish.

Corla Hoelscher
Corla L. Hoelscher, 62, of Wapakoneta, died at 9:40 p.m. Dec. 27, 2006, at her residence. Cause of death was from natural causes.
She was born June 20, 1944, in St. Marys Township, Auglaize County, to Boyd and Audrey Smith Chivington, who are deceased. On Nov. 24, 1962, she married Robert D. Hoelscher who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Robert Jr. (Rosemary) and Dave (Julie), all of Wapakoneta; a daughter, Rebecca (Tony) Newman, Wapakoneta; three brothers, Bryce (Carol) and Byron (Pam) Chivington, all of St. Marys, and Kenneth Chivington, Wapakoneta; three sisters, Judy (John) McGaughey, Junction City, Sharon Zizelman, Coldwater, and Melissa (William) Canfield, Oklahoma City, Okla., and 13 grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Richard and Roger and two sisters, Annette and Deborah.
She was a homemaker and retired from Auglaize County Public Library in 2006. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wapakoneta.
Funeral Mass is 2 p.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Henry Albietz officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday and 1-1:45 p.m. Saturday at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, Long & Folk Chapel, Wapakoneta.
