Skating along

Spencer Hunt, 10 of Celina, shows off some skateboarding tricks during an event at the old Wal-Mart store in Celina on Saturday. More than 120 kids spent the afternoon skateboarding, with all proceeds collected going to a future skate park in Celina. Event organizer Keith Gudorf, a Celina Middle School teacher, said students from across the county showed up along with several parents and other spectators. Some even gave additional money toward the skate park. Gudorf said another skateboarding event will be planned for the future.
