Frances Rethman
Frances M. Rethman, 92, 10276 Friemering Road, Fort Loramie, died 11 a.m. Feb. 17, 2007, at Heritage Manor Nursing Center, Minster.
She was born Aug. 17, 1914, in Fort Loramie, to Henry and Catherine Eilerman Boerger. On June 10, 1939, she married Karl H. Rethman, who died July 16, 1990.
Surviving are three sons, Jim (Becky), John (Betty) and Bill (Janice), all of Fort Loramie; three sisters, Helen Sanders and Emma Sanders, both of Fort Loramie, and Esther Henschen, Sidney; two sisters-in-law, Emma Rita Boerger, Fort Loramie, and Dorothy Boerger, Geenville; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers, Edward, George and John Boerger..
She was a member of St. Michael Church, Fort Loramie, its St. Anne Ladies Sodalit. She also was a member of Knights of St. John Auxiliary Post 313, Fort Loramie, and Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie Auxiliary 1391, Minster. She was a homemaker.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
Contributions can be made to the church improvement fund.
