An arctic cold front will move through the area this afternoon and evening, bringing snow showers and much colder air. While accumulations will generally be less than one half inch, quick bursts of snow will result in reductions in visibility and slick conditions at times. Some snow squalls are possible, which could lead to locally difficult travel conditions.

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 19 below zero expected.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana and central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From 1 AM Monday to 10 AM EST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Very cold temperatures can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.

Ted and Alison Homan of rural Coldwater grew tired of making the long journey to Dayton to attend the Families with Children from China (FCC) chapter meetings, so they started their own local group.
The Homans adopted 14-month-old Audrey from China two years ago, and in December, they welcomed into their family 2-year-old Paul, also from China. The Homans have two older biological children, Andrew and Natalie. [More]

The Coldwater Cavaliers will send three wrestlers to the state wrestling meet for the third straight season as the Cavaliers finished third at the Division III district tournament at Kettering Fairmont on Saturday afternoon.
LIMA - Celina played the underdog role to perfection and St. Marys almost made it two upsets on Saturday night in Division II sectional finals action at Lima Senior High School.
NEW BREMEN - The seeding held true to format the Division IV sectional tournament at New Bremen High School Saturday night as the second-seeded Fort Recovery Indians eliminated the Marion Local Flyers 40-27 and the top-seeded New Knoxville Rangers ousted the Minster Wildcats 40-26 in the nightcap.
