Glee Kruse

Glee Kruse, 96, 3295 Glynwood Road, St. Marys, died Feb. 24, 2007 at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.

She was born Feb. 4, 1911, in Van Wert, to Willis J. and Melissa Cain Chivington. On Sept. 12, 1934, she married Francis W. Kruse, who died in 1983.

Surviving is a daughter, Kay M., St. Marys.

Deceased are six brothers, Olen, Dale, Don, Boyd, Claude and Ivan; two sisters, Lottie Cully and Ila Beth Bushong; and three infant brothers and a sister.

She retired from GC Murphy Company, St. Marys, after 25 years. She was a 15-year member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Spencerville, and an organist for 64 years at Grace United Methodist Church, St. Marys.

Services are 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Cisco Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Revs. David Chivington, Gary Rode and Jane Johnson officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.

Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 10:30-11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
