* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations up to one inch. Snow melt and refreezing overnight has resulted in the development of black ice on roads.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...Until 11 AM EST this morning.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute.

Snow showers to continue this morning. Slick spots on area roads will be possible this morning with temperatures below freezing. Motorists can expect rapid changes in visibility when encountering some of the heavier snow showers. Northwest winds gusting up to 30 mph will add to the travel impacts due to blowing and drifting snow.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Doyle Birt
Doyle Dean Birt, 81, 1019 Emerald Ave., Coldwater, died at 5:35 p.m. Oct. 31, 2007, at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater.
He was born April 24, 1926, in Ansonia, to Frank and Clara Murray Birt. On June 18, 1949, he married Mary Jane Schwieterman, who survives.
Other survivors are three sons, Charles (Karen), Fenton, Mich., Ronald (Cindy), Athens, and Alan (Stephanie), Montezuma; a daughter, Jeanette (Bill) Muhlenkamp, El Paso, Texas; two sisters, Mary Smalley and Patricia Fleck, both of Celina; two sisters-in-law, Martha Huelsman, St. Henry, and Mary Schwieterman, Montezuma; 16 grandchildren, a stepgrandchild and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Lovell; and two sisters, Thelma Ott and Violet Davis.
He worked at the former Linneman Garage, Montezuma, and Crown Equipment Corp., New Bremen, where he retired after 26 years. A 1944 graduate of Celina High School, he was a former member of the Montezuma Fire Department, a U.S. Marines veteran of World War II and member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5135, Coldwater. He also was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Montezuma.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. James Dugal officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-6 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
