* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations up to one inch. Snow melt and refreezing overnight has resulted in the development of black ice on roads.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...Until 11 AM EST this morning.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute.

Snow showers to continue this morning. Slick spots on area roads will be possible this morning with temperatures below freezing. Motorists can expect rapid changes in visibility when encountering some of the heavier snow showers. Northwest winds gusting up to 30 mph will add to the travel impacts due to blowing and drifting snow.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Leah Wheeler
Leah June Wheeler, 82, 1629 Treaty Line Road, Portland, Ind., died Nov. 1, 2007, at her residence.
She was born Nov. 6, 1924, in Jay County to Dorsey and Garnet Beatrice Doty Atha. On May 29, 1940, she married Milo W. Ludy, who died June 6, 1944. On Jan. 23, 1946, she married Lloyd V. Wheeler, who died Feb. 4, 1984.
Surviving are a son, Jerry (Marina), Portland; a daughter, Pam (Rex) Clevenger, Portland; a brother, Lee (Mary) Atha, Portland; a sister, Marie Schooley, Portland; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was a maintenance employee of Jay County High School from 1980 to 1990 and also worked at Sheller Globe. She was a member of Mary Help of Christian Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, and American Legion Post 211 Auxiliary, Portland.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday at Portland Chapel of the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home, the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial is at Antioch Cemetery, southeast of Portland.
Calling is 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
