Commissioners no longer plan to make fairground grandstand handicapped-accessible
Mercer County Commissioners' plan to make the grandstand at the fairgrounds handicapped-accessible was thrown out due to a recent cost analysis that deemed the project too expensive.
After a career of 37 years in the field of education, Glenn Hux has switched gears and is serving his community as executive director of the Mercer County Civic Foundation.
State Rep. Jim Zehringer, (R-Fort Recovery), said Mercer and Darke county farmers need to keep improving manure management and hinted at regulations if farmers don't step up to the plate.
