Irene Stewart
Former Coldwater resident Irene Stewart, 83, of The Gardens at Celina, died at 1:25 a.m. Dec. 9, 2007, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
She was born June 22, 1924, in Celina, to Werner J. and Margaret Schoenlein Steinke. On April 28, 1948, she married George Stewart, who died July 23, 1985.
Surviving are a sister-in-law, Gladys Steinke, Piqua; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased is a brother, Donald Steinke.
She retired from the former Buckeye Overall Company, Coldwater, and was a beautician and a homemaker. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, and its St. Ann's Rosary Altar Sodality.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Richard Walling officiating. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery.
Calling is 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
