At 1212 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near New Bremen, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Newport, Fryburg, Montra, Egypt, Uniopolis, New Bremen, Buckland, Botkins, New Knoxville, Fort Loramie, Kettlersville, Moulton, Jackson Center, St. Marys, Anna, Kossuth, Lakeview, Lake Loramie State Park, Waynesfield, and Wapakoneta.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 96 and 118.

Paul Gaier
Paul L. Gaier Sr., 68, 7650 Dawson Road, Fort Loramie, died at 1:10 a.m. Jan. 29, 2008, at Kindred Hospital, Dayton.
He was born July 23, 1939, in Fort Loramie, to Albert and Mary Helen Hoelscher Gaier. On Oct. 24, 1959, he married Charlene Schmerge, who survives.
Other survivors are a son, Paul Jr., Fort Loramie; three daughters, Donna (Dan) Wannemacher, Anna, and Patty (Jim) Wood and Tina (Robert) Allen, all of Sidney; three sisters, Agnes (Donald) Doseck, Botkins, and Janice (Elmer "Junior") Larger and Linda Gaier, all of Fort Loramie; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two infant siblings.
He retired from farming and his job as a heavy equipment operator at S. E. Johnson Company. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Fort Loramie, Power of the Past, Greenville, Wapak Buckeye Antique Tractor Association, Draft Horse Association and a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Minster.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster.
