The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* Until 700 AM EDT.
* At 309 AM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Celina, Coldwater, St. Henry, Fort Recovery, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Carthagena, Neptune, Chattanooga and Maria Stein.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 435 AM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Wapakoneta, St. Marys, New Bremen, Minster, Jackson Center, Botkins, New Knoxville, Moulton, Buckland, Uniopolis, Kettlersville, Fryburg, McCartyville, Montra, St. Johns, Bulkhead and Egypt.

Harold Homan
Harold J. Homan, 86, 691 Frahm Pike, Celina, died at 2:35 p.m. Feb. 8, 2008, at The Laurels of Shane Hill, Rockford.
He was born Aug. 31, 1921, in Portland, Ind., to August and Catherine Braun Homan. On Aug. 28, 1943, he married Luella "Ellie" Buschur, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Dan (Brenda), Celina, and Rick (Cathy), Fort Recovery; a daughter, Cathy Kahlig, Portland, Ind.; two brothers, Jim, Coldwater, and Ivo (Betty), St. Henry; four sisters, Mary Ann Luebke, Celina, Vera Massone, Decatur, Ind., Verena Goettemoeller, Celina, and Luella (Eugene) Reinhart, Bryant, Ind.; two sisters-in-law, Jean Homan, Lake James, Ind., and Joy Homan, St. Marys; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a grandchild; three brothers, Robert, Marvin and Lavern; and two sisters, Esther Link and Laura Ann Homan.
A retired farmer, he had worked at Pax Machine, Celina, and was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Bryant, Ind., where he served on the parish council and was a member of the St. Joseph's Men's Society.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. David Hoying officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Monday and 9-9:45 a.m. Tuesday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
