Light snow will overspread the area from the northwest this morning. An increased coverage of snow showers is expected to develop this afternoon into the evening hours. Slick spots may develop on roads tonight as temperatures drop and northwest winds gust up to 30 mph. Coverage of snow showers is expected to decrease overnight before ending Monday morning. Most the area will see an accumulation of 1 to 2 inches. Locally higher amounts are possible in areas where heavier snow bands develop this afternoon into early evening.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Thomas Schwartz
Thomas A. Schwartz, 72, 830 Linden Avenue, Celina, died at 8 p.m. Feb. 7, 2008, at his residence.
He was born May 22, 1935, in Fremont to Norbert and Loretta Reinbolt Schwartz. On Nov. 28, 1957, he married Jean E. Kirwen, who survives.
Other survivors are four sons, Thomas (Traci), Weatherford, Texas; Steven (Ute), St. Marys; James (Dana), Roy, Wash., and John, San Francisco, Calif.; five daughters, Marilyn (James) Tracy, Englewood; Mary Love, Celina; Marta (Jimmy) Calderone, Lawrence, Kan.; Maureen (Steven) Maine, Ephrata, Wash., and Michelle (Steven) Schwieterman, Roanoke, Ind., a brother, Robert (Barbara) of Michigan; and 20 grandchildren.
Deceased is a sister, Jeanne.
Schwartz retired as director of public service and safety for the city of Celina in 1999 after 191/2 years of service. He previously was director of public service and safety for the city of Bellevue and served two terms on the Fremont City Council. He also previously worked as a consultant for the Attwell, Vogel and Sterling and Acme Underwriting Company. He was a graduate of St. Joseph High School in Fremont.
He served on several boards and with various organizations, including the Ohio Municipal Electric Association, American Municipal Power of Ohio, Ohio Public Power Educational Institute, Lake Development Corporation ,Ohio Conference for International Ozone Association, Ohio Development Association, Ohio Association of Public Safety Directors and Ohio City Management Association.
He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina.
A Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Brenberger officiating. Burial will follow at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Monday and before 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina.
