Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off into tonight.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset and beyond as temperatures drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

Anna Archer
Anna L. Archer, 75, of 400 E. Warren St., Celina, died at 4:25 p.m. May 26, 2008, at her residence.
She was born Feb. 24, 1933, in Philothea, to Louis and Minnie Eblen Tangeman. On Feb. 23, 1952, she married Robert Archer, who survives.
Other survivors are three sons, John (Mary Lou), Rockford, Tom, St. Louis, Mo., and Jerry (Shelly), Celina; three daughters, Sharon Archer, Mendon, Diane Archer, Union City, Ind., and Linda (Doug) Krieger, Alberta, Canada; two brothers, Gene (Kay) Tangeman and Donald (Lou) Tangeman, all of Coldwater; one sister, Rose Mary Lefeld, Coldwater; her caregiver and sister-in-law, Betty (Donald) Miller, Celina; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Deceased is a daughter Mary Helen; and brother-in-law, Paul Lefeld.
  She was a homemaker, and worked as a workshop specialist, as a bus driver at Cheryl Ann Industries for 22 years and at Curves, both in Celina. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, and a member of The Fountain Breakfast Club, both in Celina. She graduated from Coldwater High School in 1951.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Church, the Rev. Richard Riedel officiating. Burial is at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Friday and 9-9:45 a.m. Saturday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.
