Daniel Cress
Daniel Earl Cress, 55, of Bellefontaine, died May 26, 2008, at Mary Rutan Hospital, Bellefontaine. Death was due to natural causes.
He was born March 1, 1953, in Lima to Delbert Earl and Juanita D. Hoobler Cress. His mother survives in Van Wert.
Other survivors are two brothers, Ron (Ruth), Noblesville, Ind. and Jim (Bonnie), Bowling Green.
He worked as a lab systems analyst at Mary Rutan Hospital for many years. He was a member of the Lewiston Trinity United Methodist Church, where he served as treasurer on the church's A.I.D.S. Task Force. He was a 1971 graduate of Parkway High School.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home, Van Wert, the Rev. Barry Baughman officiating. Burial is at the International Order of Odd Fellows Cemetery in Convoy.
Calling is 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Eichholtz Funeral Home, Bellefontaine and 9-10:30 a.m. Friday at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home.
