* WHEN...Until 445 PM EDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1044 AM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen.Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

Alice James
Alice James, 84, 1009 Emerald Drive, Coldwater, died at 2:55 a.m. Aug. 21, 2008, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
She was born June 8, 1924, in Celina, to Vilas and Marjorie Gibson Riesen. On Aug. 16, 1947, she married L. Mac James, who died April 9, 1981.
Surviving are two sons, Tim and Tom (Cindy), all of Coldwater; four daughters, Jill (Dave) Bruns, Judy (Randy) Sudhoff, Jane (Mike) Dingledine, and Julie (Mike) Klosterman, all of Coldwater; a brother, Gene (Rosie) Riesen, Celina; a sister, Anna Lee Fisher, Fort Wayne, Ind.; 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Sam Riesen; and a sister, Billie Hasejager.
She was retired as a licensed practical nurse from Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater. She was a member of Coldwater United Methodist Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Coldwater.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Allan Brown officiating. Burial is at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-7 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
