Couple wants to open a performing arts school in Celina
The Celina Planning Commission reluctantly approved Tim and Leslie Townsend's request to establish an apartment in their building on 311 S. Main Street, a structure that was never intended for residential use, Safety Service Director Jeff Hazel said.

The Mercer County Elks was the center of high school golf in the area on Thursday as two Midwest Athletic Conference boys golf matches and one conference girls match dotted the course.
