Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Michael Robinson
Michael A. Robinson, 56, of Versailles, died at 1 a.m. Aug. 20, 2008, at Kozy Kampground in Celina. Death was due to natural causes.
He was born Sept. 21, 1951, in Greenville, to William and Genevieve Detrick Robinson. His mother survives in Versailles.
Other survivors are a son, Kenneth (Tami), Denham Springs, La.; a brother, Donald (Marilyn), Versailles; and a granddaughter.
He was retired from the U.S. Army.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Zechar-Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville. Burial is at Dayton National Cemetery with military services conducted by the U.S. Military.
Calling is 1-3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
