Thousands of race enthusiasts and local residents lined the shores of Grand Lake in Celina this weekend to watch 16-year-old Brandon Kennedy of Bear, Del., win the 2008 Governor's Cup Regatta.

MARION - After a scoreless first half, it came down to execution and tenacity to decide a winner in the fifth meeting between St. Henry and Marion Pleasant.
The Redskins scored two touchdowns in the third quarter, then braved a Spartan comeback that came down to a missed PAT, a botched special teams move and a last-minute defensive stand that allowed St. Henry to beat Pleasant for the fifth time, 14-13, at Pleasant High School on Saturday night. [More]

Celina Police continue to investigate an armed robbery that occurred Friday night at the Marathon gas station.
The masked perpetrator reportedly entered the business at 1027 N. Main St. around 11 p.m. and pointed a gun at the female clerk demanding money from the cash register.
