Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Freda Moeller
Freda M. Moeller, 93, 06011 Kettler Road, New Bremen, died at 9:55 p.m. Sept. 12, 2008, at Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Community.
She was born July 26, 1915, in Newport, to Frank and Rose Cardo Larger.On June 19, 1937, she married Elton E. Moeller who died May 28, 1991.
Surviving are three sons, Marvin (Jeannette) and Mark (Kathleen), all of New Bremen, and Mardean (Carole), Anna; three daughters, Marlene (Lawrence) Egbert, New Bremen; MaryAnn (Stephen) Voisard, Port Clinton, and Marcia (Charles) Jones, Greenville; two brothers, Ralph Larger, Minster, and Raymond (Virginia) Larger, Fort Loramie; 16 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, seven stepgrandchildren and seven stepgreat-grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Clarence Larger; and three sisters, Esther Gaier, Bertha Maurer and Dorothy Geise.
She was a homemaker and had worked at Crown Equipment, New Bremen, and was a member of the Plant 1 Retirement Committee, the Church of the Holy Redeemer, and Senior Citizens, all in New Bremen.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Mannebach officiating. Burial is at St. Michael's Cemetery, Fort Loramie.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, and 9:30-10:10 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
