Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Thomas Weaver
Thomas C. Weaver, 86, 425 North Pine St., St. Marys, died at 5:25 p.m. Sept. 12, 2008, at the Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center.
He was born Jan. 8, 1922, in St. Marys, to Carlton and Opal Curts Weaver, On June 28, 1940, he married Joann Mihm, who died April 5, 2006.
Surviving are a son, Karlton, Jacksonville, N.C.; a daughter, Karen (Robert) Adams, St. Marys; two sisters, Wavelyn Heinselman, St. Marys, and Lois Martin, Troy; four grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Rex and Richard.
He owned Weaver Plumbing and Heating Company, St. Marys, for many years and attended St. Marys city schools.
Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. James Alley officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is one hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.
