Choppy water makes for some thrills and spills

Road crews across the area already have a message for winter drivers: "Be extra careful this year."
Road salt and salt mixtures will be used sparingly across the Grand Lake area this winter due to the current high cost of the mineral. In some cases, the price per ton has more than tripled.
