Evangeline Winner
Former Coldwater and Osgood resident Evangeline M. Winner, 91, died at 5 a.m. Dec. 7, 2008, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Oct. 5, 1917, in Egypt to Harry and Florence Schmiesing Osterloh. On Nov. 15, 1938, she married Edward J. Winner, who died Nov. 24, 1990.
Surviving are three daughters, Connie Sue Cron, Sun Lakes, Ariz., Betty Jean Bruggeman, Coldwater, and Linda J. Moeller, Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; a sister-in-law, Anna Marie Osterloh, Sidney; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Ralph Osterloh; two sisters, Irene Osterloh and Velma Winner-Dammeyer; a son-in-law and a great-grandchild.
She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Osgood, and its Ladies Rosary Altar Sodality and the Knights of St. John Ladies Auxiliary, Maria Stein.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church. Burial is at St. Martins Cemetery, Osgood.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
