Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Caleb Sharp
Caleb Sharp, 76, of 14160 Glynwood-New Knoxville Road, St. Marys, died at 2:07 a.m. Dec. 13, 2008, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 24, 1932, in Pineville, Ky., to Chester and Cora Gibson Sharp. On Oct. 4, 1954, he married Thursa Rhodes, who survives.
Other survivors are a son, Darren, Wapakoneta; a daughter, Linda (Venard) Morris, St. Johns; three sisters, Gertrude (William) Wilder, Pineville, Ky., and Loretta Cawood and Hazel (Robert) Adams, all of St. Marys; a brother, Alan (Velma) Sharp, St. Marys; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He retired from the maintenance department at Nu-Tek Foods, Wapakoneta, and had worked at the former Avco-New Idea, Coldwater. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War.
Services are 1 p.m. Thursday at the St. Marys Missionary Baptist Church, the Rev. Alva Daniel officiating. Burial with military rites is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys.
