Barbara Eggers
Barbara Ann Knapke Eggers, 68, of Eaton, died Dec. 15, 2008, at Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash.
She was born April 1, 1940, in St. Sebastian, to George and Hilda Bruns Will. Her first husband, Donald G. Knapke, died in 2001. She married Erich Eggers in 2005, who survives.
Other survivors are a son, Frederick Knapke, Zaleski; a daughter, Angela Knapke, Cincinnati; a stepson Erich L. (Kelly) Eggers, Centerville; a stepdaughter, Susan (Bill) Muenchow, Columbus; a sister, Roselyn Bruns, town unknown; and a brother, Roger Will, town unknown.
Deceased is a brother, Charles Will.
She worked as a home health aid and was a member of St. John Catholic Church, New Paris. She was a graduate of Marion Local High School, Maria Stein, and the Community Hospital School of Nursing, Springfield.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at Visitation Catholic Church, Eaton, the Revs. J. Thomas Fitzsimmons and George Traub officiating. Burial is at Sugar Grove Cemetery, West Alexandria.
Calling is 9-10:30 a.m. Friday at the church in Eaton.
Contributions can be made to Hospice of Cincinnati c/o Bethesda Foundation, Inc., Cincinnati.
Arrangements are being handled by Barnes Funeral Home, Eaton.
