F. Delilah Fishpaw
F. Delilah "Dee" Fishpaw, 97, of Lima died at 7:05 a.m. Dec. 17, 2008, at The Ridge at Shawnee.
She was born July 5, 1911, in St. Marys, to Louis Burt and Mary G. Bensman DeMoss. On July 14, 1934, she married Robert A. Fishpaw Sr., who died Nov. 16, 1972.
Other survivors are four sons, Robert A. Jr. (Jane), Fostoria, James L. (Marilyn), Celina, Richard T. (Joy), Wapakoneta, John E. (Barbara), Lima; two daughters, Mary Lou (John) Chandler, Franklin, N.C., and Phyllis (Larry) Hicks, Lima; a son-in-law, David Rundio; 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren, nine stepgreat-grandchildren and three stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Kathleen Rundio; siblings, Louis and William DeMoss; A. Esther Rable and Mary H. Egan; a great-granddaughter and a stepgrandaughter.
A homemaker, she retired after 17 years as a nurse's aide at Lima Convalescent Home. She was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church and its Altar Rosary Society, the Catholic Ladies of Columbia, the St. Gerard Bereavement Group and a past member of the YWCA Senior Group and the Audubon Society.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Lacey officiating. Burial is at Gethsemane Cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home with a wake service at 7 p.m.
