Helen Magoto
Helen Celestine Magoto, 76, 105 Voisard St., Russia, died at 5 p.m. Feb. 6, 2009, at Select Specialty Hospital, Columbus.
She was born Nov. 11, 1932, in St. Henry to Edmund and Elizabeth Pour Rindler. On Nov. 26, 1953, she married Paul J. "Pete" Magoto, who survives.
Surviving are two sons, Nicholas (Jill), Columbus, Steven (Judy), Russia; two daughters, Karen (William) Jakobi, Tustin, Calif. and Linda Magato, Columbus; two brothers, Richard (Virginia) Rindler, Celina, and Jerry (Pat) Rindler, New Bremen; a sister-in-law, Martha Rindler, Maria Stein; and ten grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Donald and a grandson.
She formerly worked at Minster Machine and Clopay Building Products Company, Russia. She was a member of St. Remy Catholic Church, Russia, the Sidney Senior Citizens, and the Gathering Place Russia.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Remy Catholic Church, Russia, the Revs. Eugene Vonderhaar, James Simon, and Frank Amberger officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-9:45 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
