John Frey
John F. Frey, 83, formerly of 150 Bayshore Court, St. Marys, died at 5:10 p.m. March 4, 2009, at his residence in Pasadena, Texas.
He was born April 27, 1925, in St. Marys Township, Auglaize County, to L. Edward and Clara Moore Frey. He was married to Elinora Walker, who died March 5, 1993.
Surviving are three sons John (Barb), Colorado Springs, Colo., Mike (Debbie) and Jim, all of St. Marys; a daughter Jane (Ron) Paulus, Pasadena, Texas; a brother, Charles (Irene), St. Marys; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two sisters, Mary Anderson and Beatrice Keiber; and two brothers, Leroy and Woodrow.
He retired from the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, St. Marys, and as manager of the Public Storage Company, Alexandria, Va. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving as a military policeman, and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion, both in St. Marys.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys. Burial, with graveside military rites, is at Resthaven Memory Gardens near Moulton.
Calling is 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
