Rosella Monnier
Rosella F. "Sally" Monnier, 87, of Marker Road, Versailles, and formerly of Sawmill Road, Fort Loramie, died at 2:08 p.m. Friday at Wayne Hospital, Greenville.
She was born May 1, 1921, in Fort Loramie, to Louis and Rose Eilerman Seger. On Feb. 14, 1942, she married Cyril August Monnier, who died in 1992.
Surviving are three children, Jane (Norman) Albers, Fort Loramie, Anthony, Troy, and Timothy (Denise), Parkview, Mo.; a daughter-in-law, Carol, Minster; three siblings, Anna Seger, Fort Loramie, Vera (Lawrence) Thaman, Botkins, and Isabelle (John) Subler, Versailles; a brother-in-law, Delbert Grilliot, Greenville, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Dale, a great-grandson; and three siblings, Linus Seger, Bernadine Clune and Ida Grilliot.
She was a homemaker and retired from Russia Local School where she had been a cook for more than 25 years. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Fort Loramie, and its St. Ann's ladies sodality.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial is at St. Remy Cemetery, Russia.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Gehret Funeral Home, Fort Loramie.
