Donald Harrod
Donald E. Harrod, 67, 125 First Ave., Coldwater, died at 11 p.m. March 17, 2009, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
He was born Feb. 16, 1942, in Mercer County to Robert and Annabelle Forwerck Harrod. He married Beth Ranger, who survives. His first wife, Shirley Studer, died Sept. 6, 2006.
Other survivors are a son, John Parsons, St. Marys; five daughters, Lisa Harrod, Frazeysburg, Linda Harrod of Texas, Debbie Harrod of Texas, Penny Feucht, Van Wert, and Jacqueline (Carl) Martin, Sidney; two stepdaughters, Patricia Conner of Pennsylvania and Olivia Meyers of Fort Wayne; two stepsons, Stephen Meyers, Coldwater, and Justin Slavin, Rockford; two sisters, Jeanette (Gary) Whitacre, Celina, and Kay Randolph, Celina; and a brother Paul Forwerck, Celina; 11 grandchildren and one stepgrandchild.
Deceased are a son, Donald Harrod, Jr.; and a daughter, Rhonda Harrod.
He worked as a truck driver.
Services are 9:30 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater, the Rev. James Alter officiating.
Calling is 2-6 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial is at the Veterans Administration Cemetery, Dayton.
