Arnold Rosenbeck
Arnold "Tiny" Rosenbeck, 71, 507 N. Front St., St. Marys, died at 5 p.m. Nov. 24, 2009, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Nov. 21, 2009.
He was born June 4, 1938, in Mercer County to Urban and Martha Homan Rosenbeck. On July 1, 1961, he married Margaret "Diane" Winhover, who survives.
Other survivors are four children, Teresa (Grant) Miller, David Rosenbeck, Scott Rosenbeck and Todd Rosenbeck, all of St. Marys; a son-in-law, Glenn Miller, Wapakoneta; siblings, Victor (Della) Rosenbeck, Pitsford, Mich., Elmer Rosenbeck, Dayton, Viro (Loretta) Rosenbeck, Versailles, John (Marilyn) Rosenbeck, Fort Loramie, Joan (Terry) Brook, Louisville, Ky., Mary (Steve) Menchoffer, Rockbridge, and Irene (John) Siler, Dayton; and two grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Michelle Miller; and a brother, Jerome Rosenbeck.
He retired from the Ohio Department of Transportation, where he had worked as a mechanic, and he farmed. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Marys. He had served as a volunteer fireman for the St. Marys Fire Department for many years.
Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Marys, the Rev. James Seibert officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Calling is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys.
Contributions can be made to the kidney dialysis program at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital or donor's choice.
