Janelle H. Schmitmeyer
Janelle H. Schmitmeyer, 74, formerly of 108 S. Walnut St., New Bremen, died at 9:27 a.m. Nov. 26, 2009, at Heritage Manor Nursing Center, Minster, where she had been a resident since 2004.
She was born Aug. 23, 1935, near Minster to Henry F. and Cecelia Puthoff Schmitmeyer.
Surviving are three sisters, Helen Schmiesing, Minster, Betty (Roger) Zoll, Kalkaska, Mich., and Margaret Dicks, Sedona, Ariz.; and a brother, Eugene (Treva) Schmitmeyer, Minster.
Deceased are two sisters, Gertrude Schmiesing and Norma Schmitmeyer.
She retired from the former AutoKraft Box Corporation, Minster, and was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, New Bremen. She was a 1953 graduate of Minster High School.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Ron Wilker officiating. Burial is at St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery, Minster.
Calling is 2-5 p.m. Sunday at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday at the church.
