Paul Fisher
Mercer County native Paul Ray "Bing" Fisher, 77, formerly of St. Peter and Hicksville, died at 7 p.m. Jan. 6, 2010, at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
He was born Nov. 25, 1932, in Liberty Township, Mercer County, to Birchie B. and Charlotte Belle Hole Fisher.
Surviving are a son, Mitchell D. Fisher, Payne; a daughter, Kim (Mike) Resendez, Payne; a brother, Lee Fisher, St. Marys; a sister, Ruth (Larry) Snook, Portland, Ind.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a daughter, Kay Fisher; a daughter-in-law, Maggie Fisher; two brothers, John and Buck Fisher; and three sisters, his twin, Pauline Braun, Florence Weaver and Iva Alt.
He was a factory worker at International Harvester in Fort Wayne, Ind., and was self-employed in construction for many years before becoming disabled in a snowmobile accident. He was a U.S. Army veteran during the rebuilding of Korea.
Services are 1 p.m. Tuesday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Mark Wakeland officiating. Burial is at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
