* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Western Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio... North Central Shelby County in west central Ohio...
* WHEN...Until 1015 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 714 AM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Minster, St. Henry, Rockford, New Knoxville, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, Maria Stein, State Route 116 at State Route 197 and Chattanooga.

At 709 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Ohio City, moving southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and very heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible.
Locations impacted include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, St. Henry, Fort Recovery, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Chattanooga, Kossuth, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, and Bulkhead.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.

Larry Elam
Former Celina resident Larry Bruce Elam, 57, Morehead, Ky., died Jan. 7, 2010, at Central Baptist Hospital, Lexington, Ky.
He was born July 12, 1952, in Richmond, Ky. to Joseph "Joe" Vaughn and Irene Jackson Elam. His wife of 37 years, Sandra "Sandy" K. Sams Elam, survives.
Other survivors are two sons, Bradley "Brad" Bruce (Jennifer) Elam, Columbus, and Eric Joseph (Cassey) Elam, St. Louis, Mo.; a daughter, Mackenzie Lea (Jimmy) Hill, Lancaster, Ky.; two brothers, William Vaughn (Connie) Elam, Dallas, Texas, and Roger Bryant (Kathy) Elam, Dayton; a sister, Belinda Elaine (John) Stallard, Englewood; and eight grandchildren.
He was a builder and union carpenter at various companies in Dayton and a self-employed contractor and property manager.
Services are 1 p.m. Tuesday at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel, Morehead, the Rev. David Starcher officiating. Burial is at Jackson Cemetery.
Calling is after 5 p.m. Monday at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, Morehead.
