Mark Fennig
Mark A. Fennig, 58, of Van Wert, died at 2:27 p.m. Feb. 21,2010, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys. Death was the result of an accident at Celina Aluminum Precision Technology in Celina.
He was born June 5, 1951, in Celina to Donald Fennig and Marilyn Miller Fennig. His mother is deceased and his father survives in Van Wert.
Also surviving is a brother, Stephen Fennig, Van Wert; and three sisters, Sharon Franklin, Walton, Ky., Leslie Fennig, Fort Wayne, Ind., and Stephanie Fennig, Convoy.
He worked at Celina Aluminum Precision Technology for more than 10 years. He was a member of the Van Wert County Outdoorsman Club, and the Moose Lodge and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, both of Celina. He also was a member of the National Rifle Association.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Van Wert, the Rev. Will Haggis officiating. A private family burial is at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Wabash.
Calling is 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert, and after 10 a.m. Friday at the church.
