* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations up to one inch. Snow melt and refreezing overnight has resulted in the development of black ice on roads.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...Until 11 AM EST this morning.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute.

Snow showers to continue this morning. Slick spots on area roads will be possible this morning with temperatures below freezing. Motorists can expect rapid changes in visibility when encountering some of the heavier snow showers. Northwest winds gusting up to 30 mph will add to the travel impacts due to blowing and drifting snow.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Carl Kremer
Carl J. Kremer, 73, 82 S. Main St., North Star, died at 1:30 p.m. March 31, 2010, at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy.
He was born Dec. 25, 1936, in Yorkshire, to Bernard and Florence Schieltz Kremer. On Nov. 26, 1959, he married Carolyn Dues, who survives.
Also surviving are four children, Debra (Scott) Smith, Yorkshire, Tami (Jim) Kueterman, Tipp City, Dan (Nancy) Kremer, Yorkshire, and Kevin Kremer, Tipp City; a sister, Betty (Willy) Tumbusch, North Star; and three brothers-in-law, James Oswalt, Philipsburg, Earl Gigandet, Versailles, and Dale (Laura) Dues, Little Rock, Ark.; and 16 grandchildren.
Deceased are two sisters, Rita Oswalt and Norma Jean Gigandet; and a grandchild.
He was a retired dairy farmer and after retirement worked with the E.A.T. Food for Life farm. He was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in North Star and its Holy Name Society, American Legion Post 1074 in North Star and the Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association. He also was a U.S. Army veteran serving from 1957-1959.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. David Zink officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster, and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Contributions can be made to the Spiritual Center of Maria Stein and the Chapel of the Holy Relics.
