* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

Garnet Katterheinrich
Garnet I. Katterheinrich, 88, 807 Williams St., St. Marys, died at 2:45 p.m. April 1, 2010, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 14, 1921, in Jay County, Ind., to Asa and Viola Sherman Smith. On June 5, 1942, she married Marion Katterheinrich, who died Jan. 26, 1997.
Survivors are a daughter, Janice Katterheinrich, St. Marys; a daughter, Diane (Arlan) Wagner, Celina; a son, Steven (Sara) Katterheinrich, St. Marys; two sisters, Gladys Kaderly and Beulah Hiser, both of Portland Ind.; a sister-in-law, Pat Smith, Portland; a brother-in-law, John Hammitt, Bryant, Ind.; three granddaughters and a great-granddaughter.
Deceased is a brother, Lowell Smith; and a sister, Onnalee Hammitt.
She retired as a cafeteria worker at St. Marys City Schools and also had worked at the Vanderhorst Cannery Co., St. Marys. She was a childcare provider and member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, St. Marys.
Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Ed Bray officiating. Burial is at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Moulton.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
