Please be aware of this potential hazard when commuting this morning.
The fog is expected to lift in the next hour as the sun mixes out air nearest the ground.

Representatives from Algaeventure Systems, Marysville, finish making an application of silica (sand) in Grand Lake in this Aug. 30 file photo. The company is testing whether diatom algae can be made to grow and outcompete the lake's toxic blue-green algae. Algaeventure Systems also is researching if algae can be used to produce jet fuel.
