Celina woman's car veered left of center, struck semitrailer

A 40-year-old local woman died late Monday morning in a car-semitrailer crash along U.S. 127, south of Celina.
Jennifer A. Kester of Celina was pronounced dead at the scene of the 11:45 a.m. crash that occurred just north of Clover Four Road. The incident was near the same area as a March 31 accident that killed four people and critically injured another. [More]

MINSTER - Except for one shaky half of an inning, Parkway and Minster engaged in a pitcher's duel during a key Midwest Athletic Conference softball game on Monday.
The Panthers scored all of their runs in the third inning and that was more than enough as pitcher Sierra Fent had her fastball rolling to help guide Parkway to a 6-2 win at Four Seasons Park in Minster. It's the third straight loss for the Wildcats (13-5, 1-1 MAC). [More]
